Class Descriptions

Beginner Barre

Barre blends elements of ballet, yoga, pilates, and strength training and tends to be high-intensity.  In Beginner Barre, Kaitlyn guides you step by step through class to keep you moving and engaged, building strength while also improving balance, coordination, and confidence at the barre- one class at a time.

Barre

Get ready for 45 minutes of high intensity, full body workout fun.  Expect a unique blend of small, isolated movements combined with full body range of motion to create heat and build strength.  Class starts out full speed and ends with a lovely cool down.  No experience necessary.

Barre Yoga

Combining elements of barre (fusion of Yoga, Pilates, Ballet, and Strength Training) with a heavy dose of Yoga, this class offers an effective full body workout set to music.  We utilize Barre, Pilates, and Yoga props and no two classes are ever the same. All levels welcome.

Beginner's Yoga

A true beginner's Yoga class designed with you in mind.  Whether doctor recommended or your own curiosity brings you to the mat, Mary will guide you through an appropriate beginner's level class while making you feel welcome and capable.

Core & Restore Yoga

45 minutes of core focused asana (poses), a quick and effective workout to tone and strengthen, a fantastic addition to any practice.  Class concludes with a few restorative yoga poses- we work hard, then rest, life is all about balance.

Gentle Yoga

A slower paced and less intense yoga practice incorporating strength building, flexibility, and balance work. Great for beginners, those in their "golden years",  pregnant or post-natal, recovering from illness or injury, and anyone looking for a slower more gentle approach to yoga.

Mindful Movement

We've become so used to multi-tasking that half paying attention seems like the norm.  Stepping on the mat and losing yourselves in breath and movement will allow you to tune out the distractions and tune into yourself.  Experience your practice and your own transformation with this class that moves along with breath.  Mindfully using the poses to learn what works in your own body and which is not yet in your practice.  

A practice which welcomes beginners and those who have been on a yoga journey and looking for a refresher.

Mommy & Me Yoga

​Calling all Moms, Dads, Grandparents, and Nannies...this class is for you and your 4 year old and under loved ones.  Enjoy quality time interacting in a positive space with your little one(s), while also receiving the benefits of physical activity and Yoga.  This class is playful and all children 4 years old and under are welcome to participate. Price is $15 per adult/child duo, additional children are $5/each.  Email Janelle at healthiswealthyoga@gmail.com to enroll more than 2 participants.

Slow Flow

Whether this is your first time on the mat or you are looking to take your practice deeper, this class is for everyone and every Body.  Slow Flow is a challenging, slower paced Yoga class.  Warm-up gradually leads to longer held poses (5-10 breaths) to challenge the muscles and the mind.  Learn "proper" alignment for YOUR body.  Cool down focuses on grounding and relaxing poses to help find peace in both head and heart.

Stability Ball Sizzler

45 minutes of core focused strength and stability work using a large exercise ball- a full body workout over the lunch hour!

Sunrise Yoga

Greet the day with sun salutations and more.  This is a shortened class so you can get in, out, and on your way to work, school, or wherever it is life takes you.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga connects the breath with movement in and between asana (poses).  Class is appropriate for all levels, modifications allow the instructor to teach both a brand new student and a seasoned yogi within one class.  Get ready to move, stretch, sweat and breath with intention. Consistent practice leads to increased strength, flexibility and balance.
